Very bad bank they treated me like criminal . The worst bank

Just tried to visit local Halifax, and again it was closed with no signage to say why. Ridiculously poor customer service.

Renewing my Car Insurance with Halifax new Quote £584.11 I was able to get a new Policy for £354.00 against identical details. On the same Web page Halifax were Quoting £376.00 against my details so why quote £584.11. So why did I not get this price Halifax

i have tried to cash into my accunt i am aboud and you have stopped it i need tablets to buy but if it caused me to go into hospital i will contact y doc so he can continue my ploblem it is my cash and you not give it tomorrow

I did not sign up to go paperless with my accounts and this company just went ahead and made me paperless i would like this to change as i have my own way of systems and this requires a paper trail which i can not do on the internet.

Halifax are the most incompetent, sloppy, unhelpful and useless people I have ever come across. They do not even deserve one star.

My arranged appointment for a video call mortgage application was a pressured hard sell experience. The call handler advisor first tried to sell me life insurance and home insurance.
I was asked if I would like to go on SVR for the mortgage. When I answered yes, I was asked again and an explanation given of what SVR is. I answered yes again and was again given the same explanation and asked again after four times of asking I complained about repeating myself. After a silence I was told there were no product that Halifax could offer.

When I asked what the cost and fees were for fixed rate products the response was that they would not discuss that I only had t answer YES or NO to questions, the phone then went silent for about 5 mins.
Although I had arranged an agreement in principle the advisor changed the term of the mortgage and wanted proof of my private pension arrangements.
I was constantly talk over whenever I asked a question and the phone went dead twice for no reason.
It felt like pressure selling to buy the product they wanted to force on me.
