I booked a flight ticket to fly from Heathrow to Newark (USA) on 28th october 2021. The booking was made on 13 th October. and I was booked to fly with Lufthansa airlines (operated by United airlines). I was informed by United Airlines that flight to USA was ok, provided I have a negetive COVID test, done 72 hours befor the flight. On contacting US embassy, I was told that all travellers from UK are barred from entering USA by presidential order.I had no choice but to cancel the flight. I am requesting a refund of the money Expedia took from my debit card, because as a travel agent they are supposed to know this fact and knew fully well that I cannot take that flight. So they have sold me a ticked under a deceit. I rwquest a refund under these circumstances.
