Empty Shelves
City where company is located (optional): Chepstow

I live near Chepstow in South Wales. For the last month the shelves in our store have been nearly empty. For years we have shopped in Wilco for  bird food, cleaning and hygiene type products. Each week we go to Tesco for food and then onto Wilco (which opens later) to buy the rest. But for the last month we have bought next to nothing - there is nothing to buy.Now we are going to have to start shopping at a different store and not go into Wilco at all, we are pensioners and cannot go backwards and forwards trying to buy things continually.Your service now is appalling.

I went in the Staines branch yesterday. saw something that was ideal for Christmas stocking fillers. I looked through the whole shelf for a box that wasn't damaged. one of you employees asked what I needed .I told him. his reply was " they are always like that when they get here" I said it was a Christmas present so didn't want a damaged box...he replied "its only a box" I told him it might only be a box but why would I but something that is damaged and give as a gift....I was not impressed at his manners and rudeness.

Does wilko think that little of their customers that they can't even be bothered to serve a the tills. Instead its go and serve yourself at self serve. Well if I am told once more the if paying by card I have to use self serve I will drop my basket on the floor and walk out. I wish to be served properly by a person at a proper checkout using cash or card. Oh and I am not scared of a till as I use one everyday at work. These self serve tills are monstrosity's . I have stopped shopping at another company because of this as well.

I received my delivery and im by far not happy with the state it came in. Despite box says this way up with arrow at some point someone never took note of this as i opened box the paint had leaked out all over pot luckily they had put it in a palatine bag then boxed it . I would have sent it back but needed it that day to paint as getting new flooring laid next day hence why i orderd next day delivery and paid 8 pounds for what based up item.

Lack of items / self service checkouts
City where company is located (optional): Durham

I have shopped in Wilco for ever, since the pandemic there has been a large reduction in the choice of goods in all the local Wilcos, other similar store are now streets ahead in items and service. On 4th August I stood in a queue of 11 shoppers to pay cash for my item with only one cash till being manned, 2 shoppers were having difficulty scanning their item, the scanning is not the same as the likes of Tesco or other food outlets. we waited 12 minutes and only 2 people had been served at the cash service counter, remember only one person serving. I put me items back and went to Home Bargains were i got all my items.
The visit to Wilco's was a miserable experience, other shoppers in the queue grumbling and jostling to put their items back
I don't suppose anyone will take a blind bit of notice of my comments, but you have just lost a customer who has spent hundreds of pounds over the years in Wilco.
