Virgin Mobile Sim Card

I have had my mobile phone for many years now and have been a Virgin pay as you go customer, longer than I have had my phone. However, since my sister suffered kidney failure, I have had to give up my job to become her carer without any help from the government.

My sister had to go back to college and contacts me when she gets there and when she is about to leave. Not having the extra cash or a job means that I find it extremely difficult in buying top-ups for my phone, although I am constantly receiving calls from friends.
In July 2020, we received a new sim card from Virgin which we had to register. I had topped-up with my last five pounds, late May 2021 as my sister was meeting up with friends from college. Within two weeks of topping-up I tried making a phone call, but that was when I realised my phone was now exhibiting unregistered sim. I cannot understand why virgin has hijacked my sim and my money.
I do not understand how these large organisations can target people who are in extreme hardship, especially during this period of pandemic when vulnerable people communicate using their mobile phone. This phone was our lifeline, a way of contacting friends to let them know we are alright.
Unfortunately, my sister’s mobile phone also has no connection.

Please help a very disappointed Virgin customer.

Avery serious matter has arisen with the installation of my order dated 12/11/20. The installation should have been today 1/12/20.

The engineer arrived and said that he does not have any TV V6 box and modem. The engineer was told that Virgin has run out of stock.

He cannot tell us when more stock would be arriving.

It is the scenario of the shoe maker walks without shoes.

Quite frankly, I am surprised at the attitude of your service falls considerably below my expectation.

The best way out of the difficulty is to install it immediately. i.e. this week.(NOT FRIDAY or SATURDAY)

Mean time we gave notice to our previous provider and as a result we will be without telephone and internet which is not acceptable.

Currently I am working from home and lose income.

Your comments would be much appreciated.
