if I could give John Lewis minus stars I would, the customer service I have received thus far has been nothing short of atrocious. I bought an OLED tv for £2499.00 which developed screen burn due to product defect and not misuse. John Lewis as per usual hid behind their no refunds or exchanges clause due to screen-burn in the warranty. A quick google search reveals I am not the first to be fobbed off in this way, many customer have suffered the same experience.



Customer services at John Lewis continually parrot the clause without any care for customer feelings, having forked out thousands of pounds for an OLED TV you get told, sorry the clause clearly says we are not liable to deal with this matter contact the manufacturer.



Out of frustration at the end I even offered to buy a new OLED tv for over £1500.00 as long as they offered me a generous discount as a goodwill gesture. That was even slapped back in my face and I was told smugly again that they could not do anything for me.



You would think that someone would look at this and offer a goodwill gesture but it seems beyond them.



Go elsewhere for electrical items this is not my first bad experience with John Lewis. Little wonder John Lewis has one of the poorest Trustpiolt scores with nearly 70% rating then as bad.

I bought a very expensive SMEG integrated oven - Model - SF9315XR - for over £1000 back in December 2017. It only works intermittently so is as good as useless. I've now had 3 independent technicians try to unsuccessfully repair it and they think there is a problem with the digital timer unit. I'm incredibly disappointed as I though I was buying top end quality. I expect a gesture of support from your side otherwise will elevate my feelings to customer complaint publications. As a John Lewis customer of long standing I look forward to a speedy resolution. Kind regards. Guy Shepherd

I ordered mac book pro 2 times. But both time the order was cancelled. I called customer service but they could not give me any reason. I am really disappointed with the service.

I purchased this item online on 9/9/20 and after delivery and difficulty with assembly (seat and locking handle) made contact with JL mid-October. Eleven weeks on from purchase and several communications with JL, I am still waiting for satisfaction from John Lewis and am unable to use the bike!! Commitment to customer - non existent.
