During Covid I have become a frequent customer at my local Iceland shop (Whitley Bay) and whilst I find products and pricing competitive I am disappointed at the lack of management control over customers meeting Covid distancing. This is a relatively small shop with only 4 aisles but with one marked as till outlet approach. Unfortunately recently customers have ignored this and choose their own route. Consequently distancing is not followed. Management seems to ignore this. In my opinion there is no excuse for such an attitude. Local Sainsbury's outlets have staff directing customers and even our local butchers ( Nicholsons) and hardware shop make sure customers keep to distancing rules.
Come on Iceland you are not only letting your customers down but also yourselves.

Disregard of Covid regulations
City where company is located (optional): Eltham, London
Raised concern about customer with two children who all failed to observe social distancing rules inside shop and the manager (a Lady) instead of addressing the issue, chose to ban me from the shop. This was at the height of the pandemic in mid April 2020. I was left wondering whether it was because lm black and raised concerns about a white lady and her two children ( one a toddler) who deliberately chose to break shop and government Covid rules by coming in very very close contact with me and my wife ( both of us not only being key workers but BME and at more risk)?
