I just attempted to pull into the Chapel St. parking lot in Newhaven's disabled bays. All but one of the closest rows to the town have been taken over by a club. You will need to look for a spot in the remaining portion of the parking lot if you are not a member. There is no consideration for other Blue Card holders. A club member informed me that their title deeds specifically mentioned the five spaces. Okay, but did it say that disabled drivers have to use them exclusively? I'm curious. He informed me that someone with a disability who was parking in their bays had already received a ticket. Incredible.
