Bought a packet of biscuits from my local Spar shop about an hour ago. Have opened them and they are stale and well over a month out of date. I have rung them to mention it to them so they can check their shelves for any more which may be out of date, but no-one is picking up the phone, and there is no answer phone service either. So, out of date food, no-one to pick up the phone and no answer phone service. Extremely poor customer service all round.

I am fed up of drivers sitting outside my window with their engines running and will be reporting this matter to the police since I know drivers are no longer allowed to run their engines when parked. On top of that the driver seems to think he can throw things around inside of the back of the vehicle. The thump and clatter often begins at 07.30am in the morning and finishes at around 08.20am sometimes continuing longer. The shop staff are actually very good despite allowing children on bikes to ride in the shop or wait at the tills asking people for cigarettes when they are leaving the age range is 11 to 13 year olds. I am fed up of the children waiting at the checkout not actually buying anything I find it very intimidating. I don't often shop in the Spar now because of this.

The female staff member was rude and obnoxious. Shouted at me as soon as I am in shop for not wearing a face covering. Only three yards in shop and about to put on my mask. I have a medical condition where I can wear face covering for a limited period. This person has no diplomacy whatsoever and I informed deputy manager of my disgust. I will be very reluctant to go in shop any time soon unless this person is disciplined and learns to show respect to elderly customers. Very, very disgusted. This incident happened pm 13.10.20.

Absolutely appalling service today at Spar in Willaston.

Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful.

This shop is awful and run by awful people.

Many many people in the village refuse to shop there and i shall not be returning to this place ever again.

I have put 1 star review because i am unable to put zero

Staff & social distancing
City where company is located (optional): Worcester Bath Road

I want to rate it as 0 as I was appalled to experience the attitude of a Female member of staff at the above spar shop. There was no social distancing in the shop . Customers were milling around at which I was surprised. I would have thought there should be some system in place to allow social distancing. A young female member of staff passed very close to me with absolutely no regard for social distancing. She attempted to do it again so I had to politely ask her not to for the second time on her return route. To which she rolled her eyes about me to another customer . How rude !!! I said that people are dying so it was disgusting that social distancing rules are not being observed! I understand that you cannot control customer behaviour however that should be attempted to be managed but the fact that your staff aren’t adhering to it is appalling !!!!! I will be complaining elsewhere too about this matter it’s totally concerning.
