I informed O2 that I had dropped my phone in a torrential downpour and I had to purchase a new one at Tesco as it was the only place to get one on a Sunday. They said I needed a PAC. They would not give it to me online. I explained that I needed a mobile immediately so I could phone my dad who was ill. I did not receive this code so I used the new phone. Unbeknown to me for a year O2 took monthly payments for the broken phone. When I contacted them I was told that as I did not activate the PAC they were entitled to continue charging me. I never heard anything more ridiculous. They refused to refund the money and said it is their policy to only award £50 for claims. O2 is the most unfair mobile provider on the market. I made the mistake of signing up for a pay monthly sim for my friend. I should have known better. I haven't received the sim and they are going to take the first payment on 18 July. How can this be legal? I am so upset I am changing my bank account so they cannot charge me and posting the sim back when it eventually arrives. Geeze it's almost impossible to post a compliant. They are beyond devious.

i forgot my password, never have i experienced anything like it, over one hour trying to reset it, live chat to 3 agents, 6 number reset codes, different email used , nothing worked. i was trying to buy a phone, not pinch one!! went on tesco .com where i also forgot my password, sorted in 2 minutes and bought the phone i was trying to buy from o2, £30 more, but worth it for the ease. disgusted with o2, been a customer for years, not much longer. rating? it would be zero if they gave me that option!
