I recently stayed at Travelodge in York. When I booked online I was informed that there was a reduction in February and also £15 a night reduction during March. I didn't get any of these offers and I paid full price for my stay.
My room was clean and the staff were pleasant, the shower is a bad design and floods the bathroom, so be tidy and don't leave your clothes on the floor 😀.
It's difficult to call reception as they only appear to have a premium telephone number. Other hotels provide a free direct number to reception.
I am struggling to find a way to send a complaint.

Staff are rude been in rooms 9 days and haven’t been cleaned asked for beds to be changed was given sheets to do it my self toilets flush on own in night hot water goes on and off when in shower people partying till all hours room 113 work college were spoken to rude by reception when arrived so left and went else where had power cut and was given no explanation or apology will not stay again don’t even won’t to finish my stay

This number is central reservations where i work, not customer service. They are contactable monday to friday by going to the 'need some help' side of the website and then pressing contact us to bring up the live chat, they operate 9-5. Please stop calling this line to complain as we have no power to refund or gurentee what a different department deals with.

i would first like to give a massive Thank you to Hannah from booking office team she is the only person who helped through all this so a massive thank,she should be promoted as for the rest of the call centre team i honestly think re teaining is needed as we couldnt travel due to covid and noone and i mean noone wanted to know or hwmelp ,i appreciate we are in difgicult times but these people are making it worse ,they just tell you to speak to a chat line what a get out ,a chat line cant tell me where my refund is Travel lodge just wants your money and doesn't want to help when things go wrong shame on you

Trying to alter a booking for this weekend to next year phoned customer services 3 times who say we have to do it online tried online but as the booking was made through a credit note from a previous canceled due to covid shutdown it is saying we must pay the full amount and not taking into account the credit which we originally paid.Submitted form to customer services who have not responded and if not sorted by tomorrow we will loose it all .

Do not book with these, scam service! they said they would refund us due to covid-19 not letting us stay and have not gave us a refund!!

In contact with customer services who are not listening to anything i am telling them.



I have been hung up on twice, laughed at down the phone and totally ignored and fobbed off by a senior customer services advisor called Rachael Smith.



I have requested a copy of the call in line with my rights to request a SADR, she has ignored and not acknowledged this, i have asked for it to be passed to a manager, she has refused point blank to do this, i have asked to leave my booking open until it has been investigated, she has not acknowledged or answer this.



I am being ignored and taken the mickey out of by Rachael smith, Georgina Morgan, Ann in fetham Travel lodge and a male advisor. The service is the worst i have ever encountered, their total lack of empathy, consideration and totally ignoring my complaint without investigating it is disgusting. My initial email was sent at 7:30PM and was replied to the following day at 09:36AM informing me the issue had been investigated thoroughly and all corrective training given, i find this difficult to believe all this has been done in in a matter of hours.



I would like a manager to ring me please as the way i have been treated is totally unacceptable.

I just writing this to thank the staff in travelodge birmingham central plaza for all their help and kindness when I stayed their . They were great and so friendly . I will stay their again .

Where do I start? This place is a dump. We booked what we thought was a suite - it turned out to be just a large room. Filthy. Asked twice to have the bathroom floor washed. Never happened. Dirt all over floor. Baseboards same. Carpet filthy.
Mold on the ceiling. Chairs dirty. Beds not made. No towels..
The police were there - seemingly evicted someone. Didn’t know for sure because no one who worked there spoke English. When we checked out (couldn’t be fast enough), we asked for a receipt, he seemed surprised we wanted one and proceeded to give us one with no dollar amounts. Insisted he put charges on there. The charges he wrote and the amount charged to our credit card differ considerably and not in our favor. How do we resolve this?
