Not even worth one star, rude, arrogant, sales staff, unable to provide complaints phone number, for the company they are supposed to be representing.

Contacted one of the agents online for help as it states on the website to do so... I am a first time user for Carphone Warehouse so am not aware of how it works. After speaking to the agent he told me 'You are vey entitled'.. He was very passive aggressive and did not help at all. I am extremely unhappy and upset with this. I am now looking at ended my contract with Carphone Warehouse, I definitely will not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Your faulty goods complaint

Simon - We've used the information you provided to create a faulty goods complaint letter for you to send to Carphone warehouse.

What do I do now?

This letter has been created using the information you entered when answering questions about your faulty product. Please make sure it accurately describes the issues you wish to refer to the retailer before taking things forward.

Send the letter to Carphone warehouse via email or post. Give Carphone warehouse 14 days to respond. Don't be fobbed off! Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 it is the responsibility of Carphone warehouse to put the situation right. Don't let them tell you they can't help as you're out of warranty or blame the manufacturer. If you've asked for a repair or replacement but it will take either unreasonably long or put you at a significant inconvenience, you're entitled to request a refund. Similarly the retailer can refuse your requested remedy in preference for another if they can prove your request is disproportionately expensive or not possible. If you've owned the Samsung galaxy A50 for longer than 6 months it's your responsibility to prove that the fault was there at the time of purchase. If Carphone warehouse fails to respond or reach a satisfactory settlement with you, you can either go to the manufacturer (if the Samsung galaxy A50 is under warranty) or take your complaint to an appropriate ombudsman.

Dear Sir or Madam,

REFERENCE: webb/Carphone warehouse-Samsung galaxy A50

I purchased the Samsung galaxy A50 from Carphone warehouse. At the point of purchase I paid £0.

The Samsung galaxy A50 is unfit for purpose. Samsung galaxy A50 NOT working been sent to Samsung twice Samsung says that it has been tampered with and got a fake screen and wrong tape used so refused to fix it under warranty sent it back to me so I took it to carphone warehouse in a selled unopened package from Samsung thay opened it there and sent it off to there repairs shop and said that the phone has been tampered with so whont fix it had it for 28 days twice and a picture of the phone in bits then said that thay can't fix it been tampered with I rang the help line to say I am not happy with the service I got and said I will talk to trading standards help with this but no joy I don't know what to do with this phone now as it is useless and don't work atall..

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Carphone warehouse that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product for less than 6 years and a previous attempt at repair or replacement has also failed, I am within my statutory rights to ask for it to be replaced at no further cost to me.

I await confirmation that you will provide the remedy set out above within 14 days of the date of this letter.

Yours faithfully,

Simon webb
