Petplan is not inexpensive, but throughout the past few decades, they have insured all of our pets, and we have always been secure in the knowledge that, should we ever need to file a claim, it will be handled promptly and effectively, relieving some of the burden in an otherwise trying circumstance. They also handle the veterinarian's office immediately, sparing me another task!

I appreciate that, despite working directly with Petplan since my veterinarian bills for handling insurance claims, I simply needed to provide my veterinarian's information in a concise statement; no supporting documentation was required. Petplan informed me at every stage of the procedure, offering an apology and an explanation if, after a week, they hadn't paid. Six months later, my cat's eye ulcer flared up once more, yet they still paid out.
