Letterbox Flowers

The flowers delivered were half dead and squashed. Even after a day in water they still looked tired and squashed. Also not delivered through letterbox as requested but left on front porch where my housebound Mother couldn't reach them. Hence ruined the surprise of having flowers delivered as I had to check with her if she had received any. Then she had to ask someone to get them for her from her porch. Also message card enclosed was a very insignificant folded piece of paper with the printed message inside. Very disappointing purchase and expensive for the quality that was delivered.

DISCRIMNATION
City where company is located (optional): london

I am writing this review to bring to your attention, ( as well as to make other readers aware of this DISGRACEFULL ATTITUDE by three member's of staff that has no professionalism, NOR ANY ETIQUETTE !! including the MANAGER'S ATTITUTE TOO.

I have always been met by polite friendly staff but more so since the PANDEMIC the staff are becoming stern and the feeling of intimidation which will have a MENTAL IMPACT ON FRIGILE PEOPLE.

I am a regular shopper in the ENFIELD branch.

I have generally been happy with customer service as a whole in all the M&S Branches, but since this PLANDEMIC crisis, the staff have been quite INTIMIDATING and ABRUPT.

I had to return an item and I had to wait my turn at the door before I could enter ( fair enough , no problem ) The man on the door was not making him self clear when I questioned him why others are allowed to go in and I have to wait?? when all I needed was to just return ONE item at customer service .

( because he had told me only FOUR people allowed at the return's.)

As I was looking over at the customer services till area to see lots of shoppers returning items, which had confused me. I politely asked the guy how does he know how many people are in the store and how many have left when he wasn't holding a mini computer hand held device monitoring customers as they enter ( like other staff at all other shops do as we are used to seeing )

He told me another staff will tell him when he can let more people in, but as I was looking around I could not see no other staff keeping a tab on numbers which did not make sense to me from what he had told me .

( reason why I was asking, so I could estimate the waiting time as I needed to get back to car park before ticket expires )

He started to look around for this member of staff who was not to be seen. He finally saw her and waved her over and sent her to my direction without even as much to bother to ask her how many more number to go till this lady can be allowed in ( hence my time limit ) The lady told me how many are allowed in which was 40 people . Then the guy said to me 80 people. This became even more confusing . ( because he had told me four people )

I said to the guy , you just told me five minutes ago only FOUR people allowed at customer services. Then he said NO I said EIGHTY ! allowed at the FOOD area . The lady said and FOURTY at the CLOTHING AREA.

( As you will hopefully be able to picture this how i have explained it . he initially told me Forty, then he suddenly says eighty , which appears to me that he has not even, either remembered what he told me, or he's forgotten , or he cant be bothered , because where did the EIGHTY all of a sudden come in to the equation when I am not going to the food hall )

( WHEN the lady told me FOURTY are allowed at the clothes section, NOW it all made sense to me as to why so many people were walking through .)

'' Initially the guy made no sense at all. ''

FIRST of all he's wearing a mask and that makes

words sound MUFFLED, wouldn't you think that its common sense to make sure they speak up CLEARLY so people can hear clearly. And SECONDLY why tell me EIGHTY people only are allowed at the food area , WHEN I was NOT even needing to go to the food area.

To avoided all this commotion, wouldn't you agree that all he had to say to me. ''The lady will be back in time to inform me when I can let more customers in . As ONLY FOURTY customers are allowed in at the clothes section which is where you want to go.''

Then none of this confusion would of happened. The lack of clear Grammar of communication seems to be half the problem and lacking people's skills , ( what type of STAFF training is this ??)

WHILST I WAS ASKING THIS TO MAKE HEADS AND TAILS FROM ALL THIS .... the guy asked me why am I wanting to know all this.

( I replied because , I didn't understand what you was saying , with that I tried to quickly recap on what he had told me. He walked off ( how rude ) and as he did so, I said ,why are you walking away from me, when I am answering your question. )

Then another member of staff A Westindian lady suddenly laid in to me ( when she didn't even heard any of the previous what was communicated between myself and the guy and the other lady, She shouted at me STICKING her head forward '' IF YOU DONT LIKE SHOPPING HERE , GO ELSWHERE !! '' ( when it had nothing to do with me NOT wanting to shop there, so she got that totally wrong by poking her nose in to something that had nothing to do with her )

she told me calm down and acting against Discriminating me and asking to show her , prove it in a CONDENSCENDING WAY , her eyes popping out of her head .

to the point it made me shake and become angry the nasty BITCHHHH .

I have reported my legal letter for discrimination about her outrageous behavior and will also be adding in the manager discrimination too, when I clearly disclosed to him why I had now got angry from what she had said to me. Isn't it just a little complitant , a little bit Naive, a little bit ignorant to judge someone on how they may appear on the outside, as to how it is on the inside and realise lots of people have a hidden disability ( I do not need to show proof , that's my choice, as it is very evidently )

IF SHE WANT'S TO DO HER JOB IN A INTLLIGENT WAY , SHE CAN WORK ELSWHERE !!

Delivery

I'm still waiting for socks I ordered well over a week ago. I've received 5 e-mails from M&S and 10 from Hermes all informing me of delays but none rectifying the problem.

I spent over 9 minutes on the phone to M & S before the phone went dead and waited 10 minutes to be connected to someone/thing on the live chat before giving up.

Hermes has no number so I did the live chat and after about 12 exchanges got nowhere as the machine kept repeating itself. I've heard nothing since.

Such a simple thing as a pack of socks which would fit in my mailbox.

I'm afraid I won't order of M & S again.

I have tried to complain about M&S manufacturing coats in Myanmar due to the human rights abuses and genocide. There is no email. The phone relies on you waiting for over 10 minutes to get through. They ignore you on FB. The staff in the shop seem clueless. The one thing they were good at was customer service seems that's as out of date as their clothing range.

What is the point of booking a slot to shop, if once inside the store you then have to queue to enter the food hall. This has happened to me on more than one occassion,,I book the slot so that I do not have to queue'll
