Dangerous/Faulty Washing Machine & Dreadful Customer Service

I reported my fault late June 2022 As the Drum was ripping my towels-bedding & some clothes to shreds. On inspection there was a huge shard of metal bent from the drum causing this. The engineer attended a week later & all he did was try to file it - with what I looked like a nailfile ! He started to rubbing it
Then said if carries on perhaps ‘BEG’ your insurance company for a write off ! Now that’s what Hoover are supposed to do - write them off - off there dangerous! Now I’m a disabled woman with a condition that effects all my muscles and Hands -arms-legs (very similarl to MS ) I also have children
Any of us could have put our hands-wrists -arms in there & even been hospitalised !
I’ve made over 50 calls to
D & G - they have communicated with Hoover as well
D & G to begin with compensated me for the days I was out of service
Then Stephanie At D & G Complaints/Resolutions Team handed it over To Hoover & it was agreed hoover would let me make the claim with them

Tuesday I spoke to 3 woman at Hoover between 10 & 11 who said I could definitely fill in claim forms for my damages , but will take six weeks to complete due to the fact their overloaded with claims
So she said to email their Action Desk and they would either email me back a claim form or post me one
Well today-has been HELL
SIX HOURS - Yes SIX HOURS of EMAIL TENNIS with the So called Action Desk !
For them to keep so no we won’t give you a form - which I said but you you record all your calls and you also told
D & G My Insurancers Week That I have to claim my damages through you
I will make it perfectly clear- I showed the Engineer all the damaged items and I also have photographic evidence & so do my insurance’rs which they’ve had for months
Today
It is now the 2/9/2022
I still have a dangerous/faulty machine - considering the call
I made to report the fault was
late June . I’ve had no working machine So having to rely on neighbours and friends

inconvenient/expensive
I think it’s very rude - they
show no compassion- each email I received today was
generic- seemed similar- like it was copied & pasted from the
last - very unprofessional
All I want is some answers and
my a phone call - so my Damages can be rectified once
and for all - as I’m approaching nearly week 15 !!
I mean with the children going back to school in the next few weeks as well - with school uniforms & sports things needing washing
How I’m going to cope ?

bought a hoover dryer which is still under guarantee and it stopped working was told engineer would come a week later on the friday she then had a txt saying engineer is sick so would have to wait another week engineer has finally come and said mother board is faulty and he doesn't carry this part in his van so he would have to order one which will take another 10 day coming from italy this will be 3 weeks now and my self and 3 children have caught some kind of sickness bug and we are all being sick now with no washing machine. customer service very unhelpful will never buy a hoover anything again,

Absolute joke . A major part broke from inside my washing machine engineer said wouldn’t come under warranty because of a 5p in the filter never buy anything from hoover again

Less than 6 months after paying £450 for a new Hoover washer dryer it broke. It wouldn't be so bad, if the Hoover customer services was any good. The spare part is in stock, but for some reason there is a delay to sending it to the Engineer. Hoover cannot tell me when it will be sent, and when our machine will be fixed. In total now, I think we have spent about 3 hours on hold in various calls and this has been going on for 3 weeks. Absolutely shocking follow up service for faulty goods. Looking online, this is a very consistent issue. If your dedicated line for repairs on goods that are less than 12 months old, is constantly busy and keeping people on hold for an hour at a time, then there is a serious quality issue.

Totally underwhelming customer service team full of people who fail to keep their promises. Clueless. If you are listening, and give a sh*t, then please call me Hotpoint. tumble drier

i bought a tumble drier through A O before christmas
the drum broke in may , three appointments later - nobody has turned up - the drum was in italy ..
i had an appointment for today , the engineer rang me and said he had no part and wasn't coming
very poor communication and customer service
weve been three months without a tumble drier despite numerous phone calls

Appointment cancelled again for the third time
Waiting three months for my hoover dryer to be repaired
1st appointment cancelled by hoover because wrong part ordered by your engineer ( drum for dryer )
Part reordered
2nd appointment cancelled by hoover because engineer had a day off
( that appointment was to fit new drum )
3rd appointment cancelled by engineer today 24/6/2021 less than an hour before appointment time
Because had to reorder part ???
This is not acceptable
This has been dragging on now for nearly three months
Being let down time after time by yourselves
No access or feedback from your managers
Simply this is not a repair service it’s a inconvenience to buy hoover
I will be contacting the ombidsman about so called service
Will not be buying hoover again

do not wasted you money. 12/20/20 ordered a
smartwash, 2/11/21 it broke. needed new nozzel.
to bad hoover does not have spare parts and nobody else does. hoover sells junk,don't be suckered in.

I bought a Hoover washing machine new from Lynnes Electrical on Walworth Rd in London in October 2019 for 400 pounds. In December 2020 the 'smart' appliance which connects to the internet spontaneously started tripping the power circuit cutting out power to my home. I am a single man who has had an inactive 2020. Including sheets and towels, I do about 3 loads of laundry a month and only use the drying function in the winter. How can it be that my hoover candy washing machine is already malfunctioning and just a month out of the warranty period? After calling Hoover Candy I understand why. I was offered two choices... Option 1. Pay 120 pounds for a 1 off electritian to come by. Option 2: After listening to an up-sell for 2 minutes, offer two costs 15 pounds a month for a year electrician contract. I am extremely disappointed that a product I purchased and used so sparingly for 400 pounds, a year later is no longer useable. Spare yourself, do not buy a Hoover appliance. They are designed to fail just out of the warranty period so that they can sell you their service package. It's insane. Go with another brand. Be warned.
