I was charged 100 pounds after nearly 2 months of renting the car with no explanation what so ever, i think that's absolutely disgusting

Hello

On 29/7 we rented a car from Europcar at Hotel "ALEKSANDAR PALACE" office Skopje , Northern Macedonia .

During the trip we kept the car clean and didn’t do anything other than regular use.

On 10/8 we returned the car to the Europcar dealership at Skopje Airport.

The Europcar representative checked the car before we returned it, and though we asked him if we need to clean the car, he said we don’t need to, and we are good to go.

When we arrived in Israel, I received an email from Europcar which charged us 177 euros (10,974 MKD) because the car was not clean. After I responded to the email, they replied saying that they had performed "Chemical Cleaning", which is practically a joke, especially when you can see at the photos that was sent to us from Europcar, that we left there a cop and a blanket and the carpets had some dust on them- A cleaning job for no longer then 10 minutes and at a cost of 3 EUR.

It isn’t appropriate to charge us when we are already left and moreover after we asked the Europcar representative if we need to wash the car and he said we do not .

I'll appreciate your help in this case.
