I have written 2 emails to this company with No Response .
Subject: Complaint and Request for Disciplinary Action

Dear Sir /Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred at your Wigan Store located in Robin Park on the 2nd of February 2024. I recently purchased a Samsung 128GB USB flash drive from your store and encountered a series of issues that have left me deeply dissatisfied with the service I received.

On the day of the purchase, I inquired about the difference between two 128GB USB drives, one of which I had previously bought, and the other being offered at a lower price. The assistant on duty assured me that there was no difference in terms of storage capacity and functionality. Based on this information, I made the decision to purchase the cheaper USB drive.

However, upon attempting to load a 10.2GB family holiday recording onto the newly purchased USB drive, I encountered an error indicating insufficient space. This was perplexing as the drive should have had more than enough capacity to accommodate the data. Subsequently, I returned to the store and explained the situation to an assistant, presenting the faulty USB drive along with the store's receipt from the previous day.

To my dismay, the assistant called someone who identified themselves as the manager. This individual displayed a dismissive and rude attitude towards me, refusing to accept the return of the faulty USB drive. Despite explaining that the packaging had to be opened to identify the fault, the manager insisted that the item could not be returned due to data protection reasons. When I requested her name for future reference, she responded with disrespect and hostility, refusing to provide her name and claiming to be the sole manager in the store.

This incident left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the level of customer service provided at your store. Subsequently, I visited another store within the hour, and they were able to process the return without any issue. This stark contrast further emphasizes the unprofessional behavior and poor customer service demonstrated by the manager at your Wigan Store.

As a loyal customer, I find it unacceptable to be treated in such a manner. I believe that the manager's conduct was not only disrespectful but may also indicate a potential prejudice or bias, as I am a Black British-born citizen. It is important to address this matter promptly and take appropriate disciplinary action towards the store manager to ensure that such behavior is not repeated and to maintain the integrity of your business.

I kindly request that you initiate a thorough investigation into this incident, taking into account the evidence I have mentioned, including the recorded interaction. I would not rate this store I have had to give a 1.
Went to return a gift that was bought less than 18hrs later refused rudely
I then proceeded to check the returns policy and I was within all my rights to take it back according to there policies
Staff very rude and not helpful at all.
Will not be using this store again , really am not happy

0 stars!! Abosutley appalled at the service I have received! Washing machiene not even a year old, has broken. Called currys they said they would send an enegineer out, the engineer didnt even show up! We had to call to book another appointment when the eneginer turned up he didnt even look at the machiene but somehow managed to order the parts!! Had no cimmunication from currys since have called them a number of times to be told we need to go to the store. We went to the store to be told we need to call them!!! We are a family with 3 young children and have been without a washing machiene for 3 weeks!! Customer services are the most unhelpful people, i will never be using currys again and advise others to steer well clear!! The service is discusting!

Repair AEG Dryer

I bought an AEG Heat Pump Dryer and took out a cover plan. Machine developed a fault 30/04/23 said an engineer will come 4/05/23 needed a new sensor.Received a text to say no part available but will order.Received a text to say still no part.(08/05/23). Another text 14/05/23 still no part. Engineer came out 22/05/23 he said they have ordered the wrong sensor but thought it may need a new control panel. Two engineers came out fitted the part and then said they could not fix it and they would write it off and I would receive a voucher to replace the machine. I have not yet received it and I have been without a dryer for almost a month this is NOT acceptable would you please deal with this ASAP.

Fridge/freezer

Waited for the fridge/freezer i wanted to be instock, ordered it and when it was delivered it was damaged. Called customer service immediatley who assured me that a replacement had been ordered and I would recieve an email to confirm delivery date. Four days later still heard nothing so called customer service again to be told no I was not getting a replacement as there is no stock now. On the day i reported the damage and was told a replacement had been arranged there was stock online as I checked. I have disposed of my old fridge / freezer and had alterations done in my kicthen and am left with no item. I am not happy with picking another item as there isn't one and think it should be replaced with the nearest model to this one as a means of compensation for the nightmare its caused. The nightmare hasn't so much been the item being damaged but the task of trying to contact customer services and the complaints line which althought they're different numbers are the exact same line. Which you get through to a call centre that is so noisy it's almost impossible to hear them and there is a very clear laguage barrier too. I have been given two email addresses both bounce back , one postmaster failure and the second saying this is no longer active. I have tried online live chat , won't allow it on my laptop and says change privacy setting ! I mean why is it so hard to get a response form these guys. After a very tense phonecall I have logged my complaint and have been told i will be contacted within 24-48 hrs by someone. Hopefully that happens but as I have no idea when they may call I could well end up missing it due to work etc. For such a big company this is just not acceptable customer service and I have no idea how they are managing to get away with it

I ordered a kettle in August and still haven't received it. I spoke to someone online a month ago who said it will be shipped in 24-72 hours and still never received it. I just called customer services who stated there is a manufacturing problem so it still hasn't been shipped. I asked for a refund and am now told I have to wait 7-14 working days for a refund. I do not have time to be chasing up issues like this and I've found this whole experience to be tedious and unprofessional. It has been a huge inconvenience and the lack of communication I've received is unacceptable.

Horrendous treatment of my 83 year old mother bullied into a voucher to replace a tv, broken within 30 days. please do not use this company unless you can robustly deal with them. They tell you one thing, then say that can't be done. All on the phone so there is no record.
