Fridge/freezer

Waited for the fridge/freezer i wanted to be instock, ordered it and when it was delivered it was damaged. Called customer service immediatley who assured me that a replacement had been ordered and I would recieve an email to confirm delivery date. Four days later still heard nothing so called customer service again to be told no I was not getting a replacement as there is no stock now. On the day i reported the damage and was told a replacement had been arranged there was stock online as I checked. I have disposed of my old fridge / freezer and had alterations done in my kicthen and am left with no item. I am not happy with picking another item as there isn't one and think it should be replaced with the nearest model to this one as a means of compensation for the nightmare its caused. The nightmare hasn't so much been the item being damaged but the task of trying to contact customer services and the complaints line which althought they're different numbers are the exact same line. Which you get through to a call centre that is so noisy it's almost impossible to hear them and there is a very clear laguage barrier too. I have been given two email addresses both bounce back , one postmaster failure and the second saying this is no longer active. I have tried online live chat , won't allow it on my laptop and says change privacy setting ! I mean why is it so hard to get a response form these guys. After a very tense phonecall I have logged my complaint and have been told i will be contacted within 24-48 hrs by someone. Hopefully that happens but as I have no idea when they may call I could well end up missing it due to work etc. For such a big company this is just not acceptable customer service and I have no idea how they are managing to get away with it

I ordered a kettle in August and still haven't received it. I spoke to someone online a month ago who said it will be shipped in 24-72 hours and still never received it. I just called customer services who stated there is a manufacturing problem so it still hasn't been shipped. I asked for a refund and am now told I have to wait 7-14 working days for a refund. I do not have time to be chasing up issues like this and I've found this whole experience to be tedious and unprofessional. It has been a huge inconvenience and the lack of communication I've received is unacceptable.

Horrendous treatment of my 83 year old mother bullied into a voucher to replace a tv, broken within 30 days. please do not use this company unless you can robustly deal with them. They tell you one thing, then say that can't be done. All on the phone so there is no record.

Went into Curry's at 7pm to buy a Pixel 6a smartphone. I wanted to hold one to gauge its weight & size. Sadly, the Curry's employee could not be bothered. I decided to spend my £399+ somewhere else!

This store has the worse so-called customer managers i have ever encountered in my 70 years of life . I was threatened with being forcibly removed from the store (because of a genuine 2nd time problem ) with my brand new £500 computer , that is still not working properly . I admit i was very upset but not once was treated as a customer who had a genuine grievance over a computer that still does not work . I have been buying goods from your stores for 45 years & never had a problem . I feel like i could never walk back inside the currys Eastbourne branch again & my computer is still not working right .

Repairs Team

Awful repairs team, appalling technical team
The advertised complaints email address customer.services@currys.co.uk does NOT exist, staff do NOT know the complaints procedure, if you let them write the complaint, it does not portray what you have said.
Shocking!!!!!

The star is only because I had to rate you. I wouldn’t give you any!!!

Absolutely shocking! Bought a washing machine. Can’t get a cycle done in under 5 hours!!

Can speak to anyone from the store!! Apparently according to your sim witted web chat advisor, you don’t have a phone in store for anyone to speak to anyone!

Poorest customer service can’t speak to anyone can’t even complain about the service because that takes more than 2 hours to speak to someone then kicks you off.

No wonder stores are shutting down 😡😡

I will never buy anything from you ever again. I also hope other people that complain about your services do the same.

The bigger the company the worse the customer is treat!!!

REFUND ONLINE PURCHASE
City where company is located (optional): Online UK

I bought a Breville Hotwater 5 cup dispenser
It went wrong after a couple of months it tripped the electricity to my whole house 5 times. Curry’s arranged to pick it up which they did very quickly, I asked for a refund as I had lost faith in the item. I rang their customer services department, they received the item back the day after it was collected, this would be about 4 days afterwards, I was put through to a country outside the UK and they were quite off about it. I emailed curry’s and eventually got a message back telling me the refund was agreed £51 and would be back at PayPal in 5 working days. That was a week ago last Friday, I telephoned this Friday to ask about my refund again to get through to a country outside the UK to be snapped at by this woman who told me the refund would take 7 days because of Coviid!!! I asked but you state 5 days on the email. She went into even more rude mode no we don’t, I stated again it says 5 Working days, please put me through to a manager, we are all the same here we don’t have managers !!!
I tried finding a UK phone number and just got back through to the same unhelpful place. You try online and get an automated robot that is supposed to put you through to an agent but you never get through. I will go through PayPal if I haven’t got my refund by Monday. I’m sure Curry’s were fare quicker than this prior to becoming Curry’s PC world and Bevan help us now they are Carphone warehouse as well. CUSTOMER SERVICE NIL POINTS.
