Declining Service

The Oswestry (Shropshire) TSB Bank has lovely helpful staff, but the Bank's opening times and service availability have been steadily diminishing over a number of years - thanks to TSB's apparent total disinterest in providing their customers with a good service.

Yes, their internet banking system is (generally) good to use and very useful, but their branch opening times for ordinary customers are steadily decreasing. There are no counter staff available and we now have no choice but to use anonymous and inanimate machines to pay money into our accounts rather than communicating with actual people.

TSB are making shedloads of money in cutting branches and staff, whilst paying miserable rates of interest on their accounts and at the same time giving customers a poorer and poorer service in their high street banks. I use modern technology a lot (including running my own small business website) but I don't want to use IT for everything because I much prefer dealing with a person and not a machine. Finally, what about all those customers without access to the internet or without mobile phones?

systems generally.

No submit button on complaint form. A good way to keep down number of complaints. Systems are absolute rubbish.
