This is awful service and noone has resolved my complaint

Ridiculous company, unable to stick to installation date as promised trying to deny the installation date I was given I have to prove with paperwork (which I have). deliberately unhelpful! installation meant to be 21st September has been arranged for months now being told won't happen because the planner has left ikea services, apparently this is my problem!! I cant even begin to tell you how difficult they are to contact and reach!! phone advisors haven't got a clue!
Furious I want to cancel the whole lot but delivery of kitchen is this afternoon. Stuck with this shambles.

Do not enter into the kitchen world of Ikea its hopeless the whole service, ignore the nice shiny kitchens you see in store they don't exist in the real world.

I have just received the Franklin high folding chair. I cannot believe the size of the cardboard box it came in and the unbelievable amount of packing in the box. Totally unnecessary. I dont know how i will dispose of it. I live in a flat so access to an area to dispose of this load is almost impossible for. I am shocked. Especially thinking of climate changes.

delivery & fines
City where company is located (optional): london

Spent £1500 in the shop plus lunch then got a £70 parking fine from them for staying too long in their car park. Goods delivered at 11:15pm and not all the order. Redelivery arranged for 7am to 7pm for 1 missing item worth £40 they turned up at 9:15pm with 8 items worth £500, we asked them to take them back the surprised delivery drivers said, you should have kept them and sold them on ebay. No response to email from IKEA about the parking fine. Cannot call them. Even an IKEA member of staff from another department couldn't get them to answer the phone.
IKEA is obviously a cash & carry outlet any delivery service is a high risk hit and miss offer.

delivery

I was informed that my delivery would arrive between 7.00am and 11.00am. Despite being home, I heard no one at the door (despite having purchased a new doorbell specifically for this occasion, being slightly deaf) I phoned the driver who said he was out of the area now and I would have to get in touch with Ikea. I phoned Ikea to no avail, I spoke to the online robot who didn't understand simple conversation. The email is not working. As a pensioner, who doesn't drive, I have spent £40 on top of a £35 purchase for a delivery that hasn't happened. I'm upset, frustrated and fuming. I won't be purchasing from Ikea again!

Gronlid Sofa/Armchair
City where company is located (optional): Bolton

purchased am armchair and sofa. Firstly, the armchair was not received upon collected, but when returning to the store to address the situation, I was basically treated like a criminal, staff were rude, I could hear their derogatory conversation about me and ultimately had to purchase another one! However, if security had taken the time to look clearly at the images of me receiving the order, instead of tracing my steps through the store that day, it would have been very clear to see on the security footage that the number of packages on the trolley’s given to me that the armchair is missing. Secondly, when constructing the sofa there were no fixings to fit the armrests in place. Upon phoning customer services we were informed that the said fixings are out of stock in the whole of the UK. As far as I am aware we have been sold an item that is not fit for it’s intended purpose and Ikea are in breach of their contract.

ikea worktops
City where company is located (optional): cardiff

I recently payed for Ikea to come and measure for a new kitchen, I then went instore so the planning team could design the kitchen based on their measurements, I went ahead and ordered the kitchen based on their recommendations plus ordered custom worktops based on their measurements. Kitchen arrived, worktops arrived my builder arrived. week 1 kitchen went in but when it came to fitting the custom worktops all the measurements were wrong so none of the three pieces of custom worktops fitted. I went to local Cardiff store absolutely useless, contacted customer service team on Wednesday 7.7.21. told I would get a call back with 24 hours no call back ben trying ever since to get this matter resolved. it is now 12.7.21 and still no further ahead. I am now left without a functioning kitchen got no water as been told work tops cannot be fitted as if I cut them they are no longer liable for them. Absolutely disgusting service. DO NOT BUY A KITCHEN FROM IKEA

Cancelling GB News
City where company is located (optional): England

I have appreciated IKEA's functional, easy to assemble cabinets and furniture. However, I disagree most strenuously with IKEA's decision to cancel GB News because of an unsubstantiated claim that this news organization was guilty of some vile offence. Your unwarranted act did unjustified harm to a news organization guilty of nothing more than presenting news and opinions objectively. I will do no future business with Ikea or any of its subsidiaries.
