Royal scott wellies

I purchased a pair of royal scott wellies from go outdoors after one of their assistants assured me how good they were and that they had an offer on them.
After very little use one of the wellies split and let in water.
I contacted go outdoors and they told me to take the wellington to one of their stores to be inspected. I took the wellington to my nearest branch which was stocksbridge and their the assistant Lucy confirmed that the boot was in fact faulty. Then to my suprise she told me to take the wellington away and to dry out the lining as it was an health and safety issue, then i should take it to the sheffield branch some 12 miles away.
When i told her i was not prepared to do this she replied that their was nothing she could do for me then.
Since then i have been passed from one person to another from the customer care team for the last month, with them not replying to my emails or phone calls as they said they would.
I tried to voice my dissapointment on their reviews but they removed them , apparently they wipe them off and only show the positive ones, this being the reason i am writing on here.
Please beware of this company when thinking of making a purchase, as i dont think the warranty they give is worth a dam.

Abysmal Customer Care from Go Outdoors .
Go Outdoors Customer 'Care' is the worst I have ever experienced. A refund was agreed for a pair of faulty walking boots but nearly two months later and a continuous exchange of more than 50 emails I am still waiting for payment. Despite being patient and polite, I have been sent down a frustrating trail of excuses, delaying tactics and lies, occasionally accompanied by a few half-hearted apologies. I will NEVER buy from this company again and am going to take legal action to get my money back.
