The only thing I dislike about this gorgeous old city, which I relocated to two years ago, is the public transport system. The local taxi and bus services, for instance, are appalling. I have had three separate disappointing experiences with Pratts Taxi. If only Durham had access to Dean's Gateshead taxi. Additionally, the council is well aware of how nasty the bus service is, so let's avoid using it.

I just went to the Thornley recycling site to get rid of a bunch of stuff. The people there made sure we put them in the right skips and were really helpful. Phil was quite helpful, and we had a good time laughing with him.
