In reference to customer services, I would like to express my gratitude to "Laura" for her handling of my issues over an overcrowded train from York to Durham during the final week of July, which I took after attending my cousin's funeral in Yorkshire (ref: XC-230728-BDHZ). She has properly addressed my concerns and is bringing them up with management. Many thanks to the XC customer support staff.

I used the first-class train to Lemighton Spa today and paid £38.00, but I also received a good deal, complimentary beverages, and polite service. Overall, I think cross-country trains are better than northwest trains since the crew is more courteous on the trains and platforms. I want to use cross-country trains again soon.
