This review is reference to British Gas I’ve been paying for the past two years for a service plan I’m paying for something I have never received every time I book an appointment thinking they’re gonna come out they turn round and cancel it so I decide to phone them up. To find out why they keep cancelling my appointment I’ve paid all this money and no service how does that work British Gas I’m very disappointed . I’d like a refund for the two years that I’ve paid for and haven’t had no service so if I was anyone else forget about British Gas they’re really gone downhill now not like how they used to be they are rubbish. I’d like to get a refund ?

I am a widowed pensioner who has been trying to get an engineer to come and fix my boiler as I have no heating or hot water. Spoken to 4 people since 8.30 am but no satisfaction. Why am I paying over £400. for home care?

British Gas service is very very poor. I have called many times and spoke to different agents and they just keep passing me to other department. What an absolute joke!!!!They won't even refund me with what I paid to the wrong account they have given me. !!!!!!!

I am 1 of the unfortunate customers transferred or not as my case maybe from PFP, I received an email from British Gas on 11/9 to say "As of 10th September you became our customer, welcome to the British Gas family" so I supplied a meterreading to you, as yet I have no tariffs, I have been told today that only the electric has been transferred as at today 20/09 the agent didnt have a clue why and said someone would call me back lol, I am unable to switch elsewhere withoutthis information. I called again and said I was calling to complain, automated system said 3 mins waiting time, 50 mins later my call was answered the agent said my line was bad and hung up on me, I hope after all this my months utilitiesare going to be free of charge, the numbers on google need updating as they do not exist

I have been waiting a year . For British Gas to come and change my meter.
However I had a appointment in February 2021 and British Gas cancelled it because the engineers where on strike.
I then made another appointment in March 2021 for August 2021.
To be told that they have too many appointments.
I rang British Gas on Friday 13th August 2021. Spoke to a customer advisor . To be told she will call me back. I am still waiting on this Customer Service Advisor to call me back.
The Customer Service I have received from British Gas is very grim!!
Not happy with the service at all. I WILL BE LETTING THE OMBUDSMAN KNOW ABOUT THE AWARFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
I am just getting feed up with now.

Smart meter upgrade

We were due to have our smart meter updated on the 3rd of August 2021 between 13:00 and 17:00 and nobody turned up, we then phoned up to complain and made an appointment for 5th of August between 10:00 and 14:00 and once again nobody has arrived or even phoned to let us know what’s happening, I’m absolutely disgusted the way we have been treated, some person should be held responsible for this, that is 8 hours work I have lost in total, I feel I should be compensated for this, our customer reference number is 851013628601, and we live at Chy Nampara, Trevethan Road, Falmouth, TR11 2AH, we are not happy.

hello. on Tuesday the 22/06/2021 i called British Gas to explain that the smart card was not working, i suffer with depression and i also have uterine fibroids which makes me bleed a lot, i am on strong medication for the depression and i have to take strong pain killers which make me drowsy . I have to eat before i take the medication. I was not able to eat anything due to fact that i have no gas. I had to take the anti-depression pill because i am suicidal. i have called a few times for help from British gas and i am sadden by the treatment of your staff. they have refused to help me and i have no gas. I am also meant to be paying back some money towards my debt. Since i have been refused help because no one has called me back to resolve the problem. I will stay in the property without gas, i will be using my microwave to make my dinner and i will use the kettle to heat up the water for my wash. And i will not be able to back the debt. I have spoken a lot of people today telling how i feel and that i am going to kill my self and no body cared to help me. Even when the phone cut out no one called me back. Your advisers are very cold and i cant believe that i have been left without no gas.

British Gas customer services is non existent! Un-contactable by day or night, unless you like chatting with computers! If by some miracle a Human, somewhere in the world, actually opens a dialogue they just fob you off with false promises of call backs! And if you persist with a complaint they will not even respond via chat! Disgraceful!
