I've just opened a 120gram pot of rice that was dated September 21 and it was mouldy.

Just asking, why once a tin of custard is opened and say when half is used and leave for 24 hours in the cupboard with a plastic lid on, or left open, why dos it turn to yellow water

Thanks Mr Hartshorne
