Due refund not returned
City where company is located (optional): Abingdon

Very disappointed with Premier Inn. This is a lovely new hotel. My stay was a series of total disasters. Booked and paid for deluxe room with bath as I have a fatigue issue, not available on arrival, given standard room that had not been cleaned, night porter changed sheets, not cleaned for 3 days. Flooded which made access to hotel impossible for hours and all manner of difficulties. Wrote to Premier Inn for refund for standard room over Deluxe Room, no response phoned- took over an hour to get through gave details promised call back didn’t happen and no response phoned again promised complaint had been escalated still no response and no refund. They have now had my overpayment since December. Please be careful parting with your money, never had such appalling service from a customer service team

We have stayed at this hotel twice now, but this 2nd time was a joke. Because there was a local carnival on and the annual festival, the prices were double (£254 just for one night). When we arrived at the hotel, they had the cheek to add an extra £10 on because we were early (before 3pm)…I would understand this if the room wasn’t ready and staff had to come in earlier to clean it, but that was not the case, it was already done? When we got to the room, they are obviously cutting back as 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel between us and only one sachet of coffee each…what is this extra £10 for?? They are just money grabbing!
The more positive comment is the room was very clean, the breakfast was lovely, and the receptionist was very polite and professional a credit to the hotel, I think her name was Victoria?

State of room/ noiseRoom
City where company is located (optional): Waterloo London

am writing to complain about the worst experience I have had over the years I have used Premier Inns. The staff understood my concerns and gave me a card with info to contact you.
I and my husband arrived early and paid the £10 early book in fee. We were in London to celebrate his birthday.
We were given room 1210 and had just unpacked when very loud screeching drilling began and continued. I went down to reception and was told the hotel was being refurbished , they agreed to give us another room .
We packed everything up again and went to Room 116 , unpacking for the second time. We are in our 70s and we were very tired by this time. Then screeching noises from the plumbing in rather tatty 116 room and from neighbouring rooms began.
I went down to reception who were sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do about these noises as it was beyond their control.
My husband and I were due to go to a booked event by this time and could not face another room change.
Each time the plumbing screeched we were woken.
This is totally unacceptable. Not a very successful birthday for my husband…
A Full Refund is required…

The beefeater Gloucester Quay

I have used Premier for many years and recommend them to all, however I booked at Gloucester Quayside and booked a meal deal. Like always booked a meal deal arrived at the Beefeater for my meal waited to be shown a table, no that did not happen. After I had stood there for 10 mins ( which felt like it was an age ) I had to walk to the bar where they was 3 staff stood talking I informed them I was from the Premier inn and I have booked a table reply " just for you " then go and sit over there I will come over and take your order. I waited nearly 30 mins staff was walking past me and not one asked why I was sat there with no drink and no food but no one challenged me. I got fed up and asked the young lady if she had forgot me her reply was "forgot you no I have been busy" Stood talking to other staff at the bar busy ? People was coming in and the same person who told me to me "sit over there" was actually sitting them down giving them a menu and taking a drink order Really My company have at least 250 Premier inn cards for all over UK and I will be informing them of my experience. Not good ? I cant even give you a star sorry that a few of your employees can spoil a good reputation. It looks like I will be looking else where in future and I hope my company don't take the same stance

Answered my initial complaint by email. Requested reply - Premier Inn mail box full, therefore unable to reply! Going in circles?

Spent bad night at P. Inn Glasgow, September. Complained. Received acknowledgement of complaint yesterday 26/10. Unable to send full details as requested as PInn mailbox full. Do they hope I'll go away? I won't!!

By the way, I don't 'check' boxes!! I live in England, make appropriate amendments to website for location.

the rooms
City where company is located (optional): Evesham

on arriving late at night to the hotel we went straight to the room to find the double room my partner and i had booked was single beds first thing we noticed was how unclean the room was on inspecting the beds were horrified to find hairs i mean a lot of hair in the beds! we complained to reception who at first said that was all they had but after insisting they gave us another room which was just as filthy and stunk of body odour not to mention the strong smell of vomit which was in the hallway and drifted into our room to which we had to have the window open all night as it was so strong it felt like it was burning our throats !!
the bathroom was still work in progress looked like workmen had been working on it but not finished as the panelling was dumped next to the toilet the only tap that worked was the hot tap which was boiling hot and the toilet didnt even flush ... thought there was a thing called health and safety and considering covid is still with us its disgraceful that premier who altered the check in times for "extra cleaning" that obviously doesnt happen at this particular premier inn if any cleaning at all !
someone should be held to account for the running of this place as they are not doing there job properly i have stopped in many premier inns which have been excellent but this was by far the worst of any place i have ever stayed at so bad we booked for two nights only stayed one couldnt face another night there. just wanted to add when asked for rating i wouldnt even rate them that bad! but have to put 1 as cant submit this review ...
