Tumble dryer

I bought a brand new tumble dryer after about 9 months it started clicking. But as it still worked i thought nothing more about it. Over the next 7 months it got worse. I was cleaning out filters etc when i noticed that the mounting points in the drum had small hairline cracks..I phoned candy and was told it was out of warranty so i paid for their extended warranty. Engineer came out had wrong machine and details the extended warranty was cancelled then re started still with wrong details. I phoned them to ask for a replacement drum as i felt it was a manufacturing fault. After phoning and speaking to several people over several months at my cost they sent me an exchange request which i was told meant that i would be getting a new machine. Now they are saying that it doesnt mean that at all and phoned to offer me a discounted machine. I told them that after 4 months of poor communication that i would never buy another applience and all i wanted was a replacement drum. But they still havent i have to repeat the whole process every time i get through..i just want a working machine and feel they should replace it after taking the mick out of me and passing me from pillar to post for so long

Repairing Service
City where company is located (optional): London

They are supposed to give you 2 hours slot on the morning of the repair when they are coming. Twice they let me know 30 minutes before they actually came by email. Each time at different time. They didn't do much. I had to wait for parts forever. On one day they were supposed to come they didn't show up. Apparently they couldn't find the flat, but didn't even try to reach me by phone. Suffered a lot of stress and inconvenience because of poor quality of their service.

Repair not completed

Engineer came out in May, said he ordered a part for my oven (16 months old). Sent me a text to confirm he would be in touch when said part arrived. Now in October and no one has contacted me. Fed up getting the run around from customer services. Now they are telling me no engineer ever came out to me and my guarantee has expired. This is undoubtedly the worst customer service i have ever received. Does not deserve even 1 star however, you have have to rate in order for the complaint to register.

Candy Alise washer dryer

I bought a Candy Alise washer/Dryer. Started leaking in June. I contacted Candy and they said they would send an engineer out. He came out, said the Tub was cracked and he had to order the part, should take a week to come.

So we waited, the day came and went the engineer didn’t arrive. Contacted Candy, they said He came to our house but we weren’t in, he took a photo of our house and put a card through the door.

I challenged this as I was in especially to let him in ALL DAY.

So they arranged another date so again I waited and NOTHING! So I called them and they said he hasn’t come because I’m getting a new machine. So I thought oh great, I asked when? And they told me someone would contact me.

NOTHING! AGAIN! So I contacted them again..... they told me that I had called them and told them not to fix my washer as I was having a new machine??? Eh??? Why would I call them and tell them that? I just wanted my washer fixed, they told me I was getting a new machine.

So they gave me ANOTHER engineer visit for the 7th of August ( 8 weeks after my washer broke down) the engineer called me at 3pm to tell me he hasn’t got the part and won’t be coming 🤬🤯😡🤯🤬😡🤯🤬😡

So I had to contact THEM again and the ya ranged for another appointment for the 18th, that came and went with no mention so I called them again, they said no one came or called me because they haven’t got the part!!!!!!!!!!

So now currently they have me down for another appointment for the 26th of August ( today is 19/08/202) it will be 10 weeks since my washer/dryer broke down. Is their ANY chance that you will honour your warranty as until my washer is fixed this isn’t going away!

Fridge freezer delivered this morning - on unpacking found chip on door frame. Rang and waited 28mins, spoke to a man, name unknown, who was very aggressive in manner. Not good - damaged white goods from manufacturer and unhelpful customer service. Want to know what can be done with the product please.
