I am aware that the council is severely underfunded and finds it difficult to handle the range of duties it has, but. The social care and financial assessment team has been excellent, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional in my experience. Without their financial support, I would not be able to take care of my mother. We are incredibly appreciative. To be very honest, despite being quite busy, I have never had a negative experience communicating with the council through a variety of channels.
