I used to go to Bath five or six times a year, but ever since the clean air zones were implemented, I have not gone to Bath or Bristol. Cardiff is now my preferred travel destination. Since drivers are a convenient target for local governments, I hope that many companies close as a result of these clean air zones. Hopefully, these haughty, arrogant would-be politicians will see how their actions are affecting the local economy.

operated by a group of thieves. Everywhere you go, Bath and Somerset Council tells the same tale. There are unclear parking signs, and if you take more than ten minutes to receive a ticket, you will be fined £120. I was fined £120 today for entering a clean air zone without any signage indicating that I had done so. I was shocked to learn that Bath had paid me for a clean air zone as I was travelling to Portsmouth. It seemed like I was passing through a jail.
