Having accumulated a substantial collection of glass I loaded it into the boot of my car and drove to the Roundhay park facility where I was turned away from our own park and denied the opportunity to use the recycling facility because a triathlon event four days later was planned causing disruption and inconvenience to all local people. There is no justification for this selfish premature imposition and certainly no prior warning. Is there a councillor who acknowledges responsibility for this ?
