This council isn't meant to be here. The local government does nothing to assist the locals in stopping these unlawful discharges and instead lets water firms contaminate their land as they choose. The leader, Chris Sinnott, claims that since the general public is blind to the environmental catastrophe, United Utilities can carry on discharging sewage into the brook and onto publicly owned land. Additionally, they ignore their own land, which is collapsing and posing a major health and safety risk. Writing to this council will, at most, result in the same cut-and-paste response. The council allows its ratepayers to live in a region that is overpopulated while wasting millions of pounds on town hall heating upgrades with untreated sewage.
